Solar PV installation

Solar PV installation

Location: Migjorn, Formentera

This project involved the implementation of a solar PV self-consumption installation for a tourist establishment, designed to optimise the complex’s energy consumption by harnessing solar energy. One of the distinctive features of this project was the integration of the photovoltaic modules with the existing installations, resulting in a functional and efficient solution perfectly adapted to the pre-existing infrastructure. From the outset, priority was given to careful architectural integration, ensuring that the solar panels blended harmoniously with the building’s design and respected the aesthetics of the surroundings. This approach not only minimised the visual impact but also made the most of the structural and technical resources already available, optimising installation costs and shortening the execution time.

The installation significantly reduces the complex’s dependence on the conventional electricity grid, maximising energy production through latest-generation technologies that combine high performance and sustainability. Furthermore, the integration with the existing installations strengthens the operability of the overall system and ensures efficient and safe operation. This project is a clear example of how renewable energy can be incorporated into tourism infrastructure that is already in operation, offering a solution that not only meets the establishment’s energy needs but also improves its sustainability, reinforces its commitment to the environment and preserves its visual appeal.
