This policy explains how the personal data you provide through this website are processed, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 of 5 December on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD).

2. Data processed

This website has no user registration and uses no analytics or advertising tools. Personal data are processed only when you submit the contact form:

• Data you provide: your name, email address, telephone number (optional) and the content of your message. Your name, email address and message are required in order to reply to you.
• Technical data for spam protection: to check that the form is being submitted by a person and not by an automated program, the form uses the Cloudflare Turnstile service, which processes technical data about your connection and browser (such as your IP address and characteristics of your browser or device). If you contact us by email or telephone, the data you provide in that communication will be processed for the same purpose.

3. Purpose

Your data are used solely to deal with and reply to your enquiry and, where applicable, to continue any resulting correspondence. They are not used to send marketing communications, no profiling is carried out and no automated decisions are made.

4. Legal basis

• Consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by ticking the box accepting this policy and submitting the form. You may withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.
• The spam check, which is necessary in order to submit the form, is also based on the controller’s legitimate interest in protecting the website against automated submissions and abuse (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

5. Recipients and processors

Your data are not disclosed to third parties unless required by law. The following processors are involved in providing the service; they act on the controller’s instructions and with the safeguards required by Article 28 GDPR:

• Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL (Luxembourg): hosting of the website and processing and delivery by email of the messages sent through the form, mainly in the European Union (Paris region, France); the content delivery network may serve the pages from the location closest to the visitor.
• Apple Distribution International Ltd. (Ireland): email provider (iCloud Mail) in which the messages are received and stored. For any access from the United States, Apple Inc. is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
• Cloudflare, Inc. (United States): spam protection for the form through Cloudflare Turnstile. This service may involve an international transfer of data to the United States, covered by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, under which Cloudflare, Inc. is certified. 6. Retention

Your data are kept for as long as necessary to deal with your enquiry and, where applicable, for the applicable statutory periods (for example, if the enquiry leads to a professional relationship). They are then deleted. The system that processes the form does not keep a copy of the messages: it simply forwards them by email to the controller, and its technical logs contain no personal data.

7. Your rights

You may at any time exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and data portability, and withdraw your consent, by writing to info@jlc-ingenieros.com or by post to the address given in section 1, stating the right you wish to exercise. If necessary to verify your identity, you may be asked for additional information. You will receive a reply within one month, which may be extended in the cases provided for in Article 12(3) GDPR.

If you consider that the processing of your data does not comply with the law, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, AEPD): www.aepd.es.

8. Minors

This website is not intended for children under 14. If you are under that age, please do not submit any personal data through the form.

9. Security

The website is served exclusively over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and appropriate technical and organisational measures are applied to protect data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration.

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect changes in the law or in the website itself. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
